10 NOLA Homes Between $400-500K

This is by far my most requested property search: A move-in ready, three bedroom, two bathroom, single-family home under $500K. So I thought I would do a little roundup of what's available in the market meeting that criteria right now. So here we go!

Brand new in Broadmoor, this two-story home has tons of space, inside and out. Classic finishes, a great backyard, and plenty of parking for everyone.

Freshly located just two blocks from all the action on Freret Street, this newly renovated property shows better in person. And as a former Freretian, I can’t tell you how awesome it is to have Freret St. at your doorstep.

A stone’s throw from booming Freret St., this property has some serious curb appeal! Plenty of living space, storage, and a fabulous mud-room. Parking can be a bit tough on the block, but thankfully the property has off-street parking.

Built in 2015, this Bywater cutie has a great-sized backyard for the area. I also love the layout downstairs, with an open kitchen and a living/dining space that leads right out onto the deck and backyard.

This Uptown property certainly has walkability on its side, being so close to all the Magazine Street magic! Off-street parking with an electric gate is certainly a perk. It also has beautiful reclaimed wood floors, a large deck, and landscaped courtyard.

Located in a developing area, the location still has great access to lots of Mid City conveniences like Bayou St. John and City Park. This is one of my favorite buys on the list.

Down in the Bywater, this brand-new construction has packed a lot into its 1500 sqft footprint. They’ve also done a great job of adding historic touches with reclaimed wood floors and recycled barge board details.

Another beauty hailing from Algiers Point, this double-galleried brand-new construction has a fabulous kitchen and dream backyard. Plenty of room for a pool!

This adorable Irish Channel home has some pretty cool perks: a metal roof, working fireplace, and off-street parking. If you can look past some style-specific cosmetic features, this house actually has great bones.

Located in Algiers Point, New Orleans’ best kept secret and one of the most walkable neighborhoods in town. Vallette has some awesome upgrades, like the built-out wine closet, an office, and the best master shower on the list.
